The Closer You Get

As a child he was born in hard times and that was without a doubt. But that didn’t stop because he knew no better. He traveled his path as he always did. And he thought everything was okay.

That is until a crow came flying bye and said, “Don’t you know that your life is hard?”

“It is? I didn’t know that”, answered the child, keeping on his path.

The Man, The Reflection, and The River

There was once a man who had been unlucky most of his life. He worked hard for everything that he obtained. However, his life was difficult and contentment was out of his reach.

The man went about his toils daily and his monotony continued. Until, one day his toils were rewarded with a wonderful treasure. The man was so happy that he sang and danced all the way home.

He walked along the same river that he had walked along everyday of his life. This day he because of his good fortune he stopped to admire the view of the river. When he looked long and hard he saw another treasure that was larger than his own.
